Turnaround Time
We try to get a proof to you by the next business day after you order. Upon approval and payment, we try to ship your order within 5-10 working days (see below). Some orders may take a little longer. Shipping can take 1-6 days depending on where you are in relation to Colorado. If you are in a hurry, let us know when you need your order and we will work with you. We don't have rush charges. If you need it, let us know when, and we will let you know if we can get it done in time.
Payment Terms
All orders must be prepaid due to the speed of our turnaround and the fact that we don't have another way to do it on the website. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If this is not acceptable, you may email us your information and we will bypass the website. That way you can pay after you accept the proof. Repeat customers can pay by check if desired. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, so don't worry about pre-paying. You will be refunded for any reason. Pre-paying saves time and money by eliminating collection time.
Claims and Disputes
Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be made by the client in a timely manner. If no such claim is made, Pads123.com and the client will understand that the job has been accepted. By accepting the job, the client acknowledges that Pads123.com has fully satisfied all terms, conditions, and specifications. Customer understands and agrees that if they should attempt to reverse a credit card charge (chargeback) and are unsuccessful, (defined as losing the chargeback dispute) that Pads123.com shall be entitled to recover costs associated with the chargeback, including but not limited to accounting and legal time. Customer agrees to pay either 50% of the cost of their order or $100.00; whichever is greater. Customer expressly authorizes Pads123.com to charge their credit card for the appropriate fees upon notification from Visa, Mastercard or American Express that the dispute has been decided in favor of Pads123.com and agrees to waive any protest to said charge.
Note: We have only had 1 office in our history that did not like their order and they received an immediate full refund. All chargebacks have been because the customer did not recognize "Lexicon Advertising" on their bill and disputed the charge. Chargebacks are an extremely time consuming and frustrating experience for us every time they happen, even if it is rare. If you don't recognize the name on the bill, please Google it or call the number on the bill.
Liability
Pads123.com's liability shall be limited to the stated selling price to the customer of any defective goods, and shall in no event include special, consequential, incidental, indirect or similar damages, including without limitation, lost profits. Hey, it's just a notepad!
Color and Exact Color Matching
The color you see on your monitor may not be the actual color of your pad. Because of differences in monitors, equipment, paper, inks, and other conditions between color proofing and production pressroom operations, a "pleasing color" variation between color proofs and the completed job [as determined by generally accepted trade technical methods] is to be expected. When such a variation occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance. We do not guarantee an exact color match to the art submitted. If you need a very close match, mail us a sample. We can also mail you an exact proof if requested.
Overruns/Underruns
Pads123.com will normally deliver the exact quantity of goods ordered plus a small additional amount. There is no extra charge for the additional amount. In the event of an underrun, we may bill for the actual quantity delivered (never happened yet).
Design Specifications
Designs must have a 1/4" white space around the edge. Files which do not meet these requirements may be corrected by our prepress department (subject to your approval) or rejected if it is outside our ability to correct. If you want to try something with less, we will do the best we can, but we will not be responsible for variations in cutting.
Shipping Times
We cannot control UPS or any other carrier. We will not be responsible for shipping delays. Yes, we did have orders stuck in New Orleans during Katrina. All of these orders made it in good condition, three weeks late. Order before you run out!
